Foster Department of Social Services – donation requests!

Wood for Foster DSS

If this winter finds you with extra fire wood that you would like to donate, it can be dropped off anytime in front of the wood shed at DSS – Town Hall, 181 Howard Hill Rd, Foster.  The DSS driveway is the first driveway just past the police station. Fire wood that is split and is able to fit inside a wood stove is preferred.  Thanks for sharing a bit of extra warmth! Please call 392-9208 if you have questions about making a donation.

 

February Food Drive for Foster Food Pantry

The pantry is stocked full with certain items, however we are running low on a few things.  The pantry is in particular need of coffee, tea, oatmeal, cereal, canned soup (we have plenty of chicken noodle & tomato!), easy cook rice, canned chicken, broth (chicken, beef & vegetable), pasta and pasta sauce (we are very low on these popular items).To help meet the needs of Foster residents with dietary restrictions, gluten-free, sugar-free and low salt food items are always appreciated.
