Does your house number have a home?

Every residence in the Town of Foster should be clearly identified for safety purposes. If the emergency services—police, fire and rescue—can’t find you, they can’t help you. It is especially important on these back roads in a rural area that your house number be clearly marked and visible on the road.

Standardized, house number placards are available at the Town Hall. They are double-sided and cost $10. Please mount them near the road where they can be seen from both directions (but not on a telephone pole.) Placards are 6 inches by 9 inches and have rounded corners, easily-punctured indentations to make holes for hardware to hang either vertically or horizontally, and show reflective numbers so they can be easily seen at night.
