The Town Council of the Town of Foster is soliciting bids for engineering services for the Swamp Meadow Covered Bridge on Central Pike in the Town of Foster (State Bridge No. 085901).Specifications may be obtained by entering your name and email address or at the Finance Department, Town Hall, 181 Howard Hill Road, Foster, Rhode Island.Sealed bids are to be submitted to the Foster Town Clerk, 181 Howard Hill Road, Foster, RI 02825 by Monday, September 20, 2021 by 12:00 p.m. (noon) and will be opened in the Treasurer/Finance Office at 1:00 p.m. the same day.Bids are to be sealed and identified as “Swamp Meadow Covered Bridge Engineering Bids” on the outside of the envelope.The Town Council reserves the right to reject any bidder if it deems that it does not possess the personnel, experience and other resources to complete the audit and agreed-upon procedures in accordance with the specifications herein.
