NEW POLICE STATION CONSTRUCTION
FOSTER, RHODE ISLAND

The Town of Foster is seeking proposals from qualified individuals in the field of construction/project management to complete construction of a new Police Station building in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and codes.   

Proposal specifications will be available on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Foster Town Hall, 181 Howard Hill Road, Foster RI 02825, Monday thru Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or the Town of Foster website https://www.townoffoster.com/planning-department/pages/police-station-project-rfp. Additionally, the Contract Documents may be downloaded at no charge at www.rowsearchitects.com by clicking on bid opportunities or at www.questcdn.com under Login using QuestCDN#8757774. Contact Quest CDN.com at 952-233-1632 or info@questcdn.com  for assistance in membership registration and downloading this digital project information.

In total, three (3) bound copies of the Proposals, including attachments, are required. The envelope in which the Proposals are delivered must be clearly labeled on the outside with the Respondent's name and the project identification, Town of Foster- Request for Proposals- “NEW POLICE STATION CONSTRUCTION”

The technical point of contact for this project is Mr. James M. Partridge, Project Architect, Rowse Architects, Inc., who can be contacted at (401) 331-9200 or by email at jpartridge@rowsearch.com. Questions shall be submitted via e-mail no later than 4 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2023 to: Town Planner Grant McGregor. E-Mail: planner@townoffoster.com. Responses will be posted on the Town’s web page no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023.

All sealed Proposals must be delivered to the Foster Town Clerk, to be stamped and received at the Foster Town Hall 181 Howard Hill Road, Foster, RI 02825 no later than 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 27, 2023. The proposals will be opened at FOSTER TOWN HALL, November 27, 2023 @ 11:30 AM and are expected to be awarded at the November 30, 2023 FOSTER TOWN COUNCIL MEETING.

The Town reserves the right to reject all firms, decline to proceed with selection of any candidates, to request additional information, and to make inquiries as may be necessary to verify qualifications.
