The North-South trail runs through the Tom Woods preserve from Pole #163-50 on Route 6 to Pole #17 on Shippee Schoolhouse Road. This preserve is made up of four different parcels, totalling approximately 400 acres.
There is parking at each end of the trail.
With the exception of a couple hundred yards of rocky single track near the north end, the trail is mostly a level double-track and easy walking but can be wet. The North-South trail is blue-blazed (an exception to the Land Trust color code). There are no other trails at this time. (Map to come.)
