Residents of the Town of Foster received a voluntary, anonymous survey in the mail with their tax bills in July.  The survey serves as a follow-up to the one distributed in 2012, and allows the Town to gather pertinent info not available anymore through the U.S. Census regarding the makeup of our population.  The data gathered will also inform our Comprehensive Community Plan update and any regulation or ordinance amendments moving forward, and will give us a sense of public support for various potential projects and act as substantiation for grant applications.

Any surveys filled out and returned with the tax bill payment will be immediately detached and set aside, with no link as to the author; the survey is not associated with your taxes other than the fact that it was mailed with the bill. The survey can also be returned directly to Town Hall or deposited in the Drop Box outside at the main entrance, or mailed independently.

The Town is proud of its heritage, its values, and above all its people. We want to highlight our unique and rural character, and plan accordingly for the future.
