(CCAP in Cranston) Outreach
assistance is available to youth/elderly and families providing
food, shelter, clothing, family health services, daycare, Head Start
and all types of counseling, employee assistance program,
comprehensive emergency services, etc. |

- Family Health Services:
Three comprehensive health centers located in Cranston,
Coventry, and Warwick.
- Addiction Services:
Substance abuse counseling.
- Comprehensive Emergency
Services: a short term (60 day) home based intervention
program for families with children from birth to age 18.
Services include 24 hour emergency intake, parent aides,
emergency foster family homes, emergency day care, case
management services, parent education and advocacy and
counseling.
- Youth Diversionary Program:
a 90 day home based treatment program for families with
youngsters ages 9 – 17 that are at risk for involvement in the
Juvenile Justice System. Referrals are from Family Court, Police
Departments, DCYF, schools, social service agencies, and family
members. Services include counseling, parent education, referral
and advocacy.
- Sexual Abuse Counseling:
specialized evaluation and counseling services to victims of
sexual abuse and other trauma.
- Victims of Crime: assists
person and or families by providing clinical case management
services to those who have been victims of violent crime.
- New Opportunity Homes:
voluntary residential placement for pregnant and or parenting
teens that cannot live in their family homes due to high risk
situations.
- Learn to Earn: works with
high school drop outs ages 16 and over providing GED, job
training in customer service, CVS pharmacy tech, and CVS film
development.
